We’re having a Sunday Roast at the Refectory. It’s not only a beautiful pub but it’s a fascinating building. It was originally a cattle barn belonging to Milford House, which is the enormous house to the right of the building as you look at it. It is extraordinary what you can make of a cattle barn! The open fires and ancient wooden beams create a homely, cosy feel, whilst outside the extensive grounds and terrace garden are great for enjoying those rare days of sun.

LOCATION: Just off the A3 close to Guildford. 30 minute walk from Godalming Station or a 5 minute cab ride. The pub has plenty of free on-site parking. Before lunch feel free to join us on a walk. We’ll meet around 11.45 for an hour’s walk.
